See below some resources designed for young people that you may find helpful for your students. Mentally Health Schools (Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families)
Mental Health Foundation - Children, young people and families;
Peer Education Project (PEP) - School-based programme aiming to give young people the skills and knowledge to safeguard their mental health, and that of their peers.
Heads Up! - Toolkit of sessions to run with young people to promote mental health and emotional well-being (UK Youth and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation 2015)
Shout - UK’s first 24/7 text service for anyone in crisis anytime, anywhere.
ChatHealth (NHS) - Secure and confidential text messaging service for 11-19 year olds to easily and anonymously contact a healthcare professional for advice and support.
Young Minds - 360° Schools - Helping put wellbeing at the heart of schools’ improvement; training and resources.
Clear Fear - free app that uses the basis of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help the teenage users to learn to reduce the physical responses to threat (anxiety).
Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scales (WEMWBS) - Developed to enable the measuring of mental wellbeing in the general population and the evaluation of projects, programmes and policies which aim to improve mental wellbeing.
