Breakfast Club and After School Care
Led by Wendy Freeman
Horsley School's Breakfast Club runs term time Monday to Friday from 7:45am - 8:45am.
To pay for breakfast club sessions, please use ParentPay.
A healthy breakfast is served daily and a number of activities are made available. The focus is on giving the opportunity to play traditional board games and take part in fun learning activities, as well as providing opportunities to complete homework where relevant. Children do not, however, have access to technology during this time. Sessions take place in the church hall and children are escorted to their classrooms for the start of the school day.
The club is open to all children on roll at the school from Reception through to Year 6, and costs £3.60 per session, payable in advance by ParentPay. Places can be booked on a casual basis or parents can sign up for a place every day according to their needs.
Horsley School's After School Care runs term time Monday to Thursday from 3.15pm - 4.15pm and from 4.15pm - 5.15pm. Children may stay for an hour, or for the whole session of 2 hours. A simple tea (e.g. baked beans on toast, cheese on toast) is served during the first session. During the session there are opportunities for children to play games, do puzzles or jigsaws and complete homework.
The club is open to all children on roll at the school from Reception through to Year 6, and costs £5 per hourly session. An booking form is available here and should be completed and handed in to the office by the Wednesday of the week preceding your booking, at the latest. Unfortunately we are currently unable to accept last minute bookings.
