Cake Sale Raised £100
Our school council have raised a massive £100 by selling cakes to the children Horsley Primary and the community. The money will be split between two charities they have chosen: The Operation Smile and The Salvation Army.
The School Council meet every two weeks and are democratically elected by their peers. Each year group has two representatives. The Council stand for a term and a half. They have an important job to do and take their role seriously. They debate issues and make big decisions on behalf of their peers. They make sure the children's voice is heard. The School Council also think creatively to support charity work by holding exciting events for the whole school.
